Keywords are a big part of SEO (search engine optimization), and much time, money and effort is spent researching the most popular keywords for a particular use.

What many people forget, is that selling something on the internet, whether it is your site, your product or your affiliate promotion, is really no different from selling anything anywhere.

The thing they always seem to forget is the law of Supply and Demand. If there is a demand for something, you can sell it. If there is a plentiful supply the buyer has plenty of choice, and will not need to buy from a particular supplier or at any particular price.

To make a living selling something, goods, services, whatever it may be, we must have a demand. And to be able to sell our product, the buyer should have a limited choice of sellers.

There are a couple of ways of finding something with a demand. The first is by advertising to convince people they need a particular product - creating a demand. This is what the Ad Agencies excel at. Whether they are selling soap powder or politicians, they can do it. But have you seen the cars the account executives drive? Sounds expensive!!

The second way is to find something already in demand. Not only this but it would be nice if this demand was for something in short supply! Then all we have to do is supply the thing in demand with little competition.

This is how we must choose our keywords. Sure start off with a list of the most popular keywords for your chosen topic, say games. Check overture for games, and get a list using this word. But now check Google and see how much information is available for each of these words.

Find a few with a good "Demand", say over 500 searches in the last Month. Then match them up with the "Supply" from Google (results show "first 10 of 250,000,000 total" etc).

Now work out what gives the best ratio of "supply" to "demand"
(supply should be less than say 1 million). Now the biggest ratio from this little calculation is your Best Keyword, say for the home page of your niche web site. The next ones are also useful, for example one per topic for each page.

Dear Sam,

I too have a preference for how I want to view my files. I like to have them sorted by name, and be in the "details" view. This is how you would set that up.

1. First, you want to set up your files the way you want them. Open a folder, (My Documents will work fine) by clicking on "Start" and then click on "My Documents"

2. Set up your desired view by clicking on "View" in the menu bar, then click on the view you want. I prefer the "Details" view, but you can try the different views until you find the one you like the best. Your options are: Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List, and Details.

3. When you have your preferred view, the next step is to sort them. This is simple to do, just click on the heading you want to sort them by. For example, if you are using the "Details" view, the heading across the top of the window are: Name, Size, Type, and Date Modified. If you want to sort by name in alphabetical order, click on the "Name" header and your files will be sorted by name from A to Z. Click on "Name" again, and the order will be reversed and they will be sorted from Z to A. The sort will always list folders at the top, and files at the bottom (unless you reverse the sort, then folders will be at the bottom)

Click on "Size" and your files will be sorted from smallest to largest.

If the view you are using does not have the headings across the top, you can access them by right clicking on a blank spot in the window, then pointing to "Arrange Icons By" and then selecting your option.

4. Once you have your window set up the way you want it to be, you need to set this view to be the default view for all your folders. Click on "Tools" in the menu bar, then click on "Options".

5. In the Options window, click on the "View" tab.

6. On the View page, click the button that says "Apply to All Folders".

7. Click "OK" to save your changes.

No. Most members of your downline will probably tell you they see it as their working hard and following all of the company programs has enabled you to live the good life they are having trouble reaching.

Some of the people on top of the marketing network forget that their downline needs more than encouragement and more than carrots dangled from a stick. They need real, honest advice about how to run their business. Never take no for an answer is simply the wrong advice for most of them and even the most persistent and aggressive marketers will give up after awhile if they do not feel their upline is rooting for them to succeed.

Remember that marketing to your downline is the most important part of your marketing strategy because when enough of them become disgruntled you will not have a downline and your style of living will come to an abrupt halt. As it is perfectly understandable that human beings are less inclined to think and communicate in numbers, this guide was written to help you to decode SMTP error codes (and other reply codes) and work out exactly what is going on when you are trying to send emails.

When emails are sent from your computer a protocol called SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is used.  Typically, SMTP works well, providing a means for people to communicate via email but sometimes, as with most things, problems do arise.  Depending on the issue, you might receive an error message or error code identifying the problem. In this article, we wanted to address some of the SMTP error codes you might experience, and exactly what they mean.

First of all it should be noted that every SMTP code is comprised of three digits, for example 451, 500 etc.  While some of these codes may indicate an error, not all of them do.  Each of the three numbers in an SMTP code has a unique meaning.  For instance, the first number tells you if your command was accepted and processed correctly. The values associated with the first digit include:

1: Server accepted the command but no action has been taken yet. A confirmation message is required. Currently, this is not used.
2: Server has completed the task successfully.
3: Server understood the request, but for it to be processed additional information is required.
4: Server was met with a temporary problem. If the command is attempted again without change, it may go through. This is hardly ever used.
5: Server encountered a fatal error, meaning the command/request cannot be processed at all.

The second digit in SMTP error codes provides more information:

0: A syntax error has occurred.
1: Indicates an informational reply, for example in response to a HELP request.
2: Refers to the connection status.
3 and 4 are unspecified.
5: Refers to the status of the mail system as a whole and in particular the mail server.

The third and final digit allows for more precise errors to be given.

The list below shows the reply codes that exist, in numerical order, and can be used as a reference.

A very common error message encountered when sending emails is "550 relaying mail to  is not allowed" or "550 Mail Relay not allowed". ISPs do this in order to prevent spammers from hijacking their SMTP servers.
